Voice My Stories is a private notebook for family and life stories. Record your parents telling theirs — or tell your own — and Voice My Stories turns what is said into text you can edit, shape into stories, and keep.
What it does
- Talk or type. Record straight from your phone or computer, or type — both sit side by side in the same story.
- Transcribed for you. Every recording becomes text you can correct, and the original recording is kept alongside it, byte for byte.
- Shape it into stories. Reorder the pieces, read the whole story in one view, and edit anywhere — every change saves itself.
- Private, and yours. Your stories are visible only to your account. Nothing is published, and nobody at Voice My Stories reads them.
- Take it with you. Download a story's recordings as MP4 files that play anywhere, and export its words as PDF or Word, whenever you like.
- Nothing lost by accident. Deleted stories and pieces wait in a Deleted section until you restore them or delete them for good. Delete for good really does erase it.
What it costs
Free. 1 space and 60 minutes of recording a month. You can share the space with a family member, and typing is unlimited.
Plus — US$9.99 a month, including tax. Up to 3 spaces and 20 hours of recording a month.
Pro — US$19.99 a month, including tax. Up to 15 spaces and 50 hours of recording a month.
A paid plan covers every space in the account. Cancel any time, and keep your plan to the end of the month you've paid for.
Downloads are always free.

Getting started
Voice My Stories is open. Sign in with Google and start recording — you must be 18 or older.
